Hello my friends! I know it’s been a while since I have posted on the blog or really even on my social media, and now I can explain why! We found out right after Thanksgiving that I was pregnant and added just another big life change to the mix lol. I’m currently 12 weeks and rounding the bend on that dreadful first trimester! So let me rewind a couple of months and catch you up on everything that’s been going on over here. Grab your coffee or wine (please have one for me) because this is gonna be a long one!

 We were celebrating our five year anniversary in Malibu back in August, and the topic of babies and starting a family got brought up. Over the last few years we have gotten to travel a ton, I have gotten to check a bunch of places off my bucket list and well to be honest we aren’t getting any younger! So we decided that we were going to stop being so careful and just kind of see what happens. At the end of August Mo decided to take a job opportunity that would require us making a move to California, so things kind of shifted. We now needed to go house hunting, sell a house and get everything packed up and ready to move. To be honest, my mind was in a million other places. The move from Las Vegas to California kind of popped up quickly and threw me for a little bit of a loop. Mind you, I’m always skeptical of a big change, but living in California again had always been on my mind so we took the opportunity and ran with it. I spent all of September and half of October in Cleveland with family while our house went up on the market and then once it sold I flew back and spent the last few weeks there enjoying our home and getting things packed up.

By the first week of November we were in our new house and the following week were headed back to Cleveland for the holidays. Basically the last four months of the year were a complete whirlwind and I pretty much felt way out of whack with my routine completely out of place. It was the week after Thanksgiving, I was a couple of days late and well that’s just not normal for me, so we went and grabbed a pregnancy test to see what was going on. I ran home took both tests and they both came back positive and the adventure began lol. Mo was leaving to head back to California that evening for a few weeks before coming back to Cleveland for Christmas and I started trying to figure out how we were going to tell everyone. I taped all of our families reactions when we did tell them, I will be posting that video soon!

From what I’ve been told, the first trimester is the worst, I’m hoping that is true! I actually can’t complain because I haven’t had it that bad, but I definitely did not feel like myself at all; which is why I have been pretty MIA. I will save a separate post for the first trimester so this one isn’t too long. That pretty much is everything that has been going on the last couple of months! We just had another doctors appointment last week to check in on the baby, and we did some blood work, so we will be finding out the gender soon; there was no way I wasn’t finding out! I’m so happy to be able to finally share all of this with you guys, while we embark on another little adventure!
