If you haven’t seen yet, last week we took a mini little vaca to California and spent the week in Malibu! (There will be a full blog post coming on that soon) It was the perfect getaway and just so relaxing spending the week at the beach. I’ve always loved the ocean, so I was pretty much in my element! When we booked this trip and I started planning my outfits to bring along, there was no question I would bring my Wooden Ships sweaters with me!
A couple of months ago they reached out to me asking if I would want to collaborate, and my immediate response was yes! I had seen some other girls wearing the cutest sweaters from them and I knew I would love them as well. What I loved most about the company, besides the sweaters, was the story behind it all. They are a family owned business who is very focused on giving the customer the best quality and service. Not only that, they also give back donating to various organizations and charities, making sure their production is ethical and paying close attention to make sure their production is not wasteful to the environment. Overall, I just really loved what their company stands for and their beliefs.
They also have a huge variety of different collections of sweaters, which made it so hard to choose! They were so perfect for the beach and chilly evenings in Malibu. The white sweater has a loose fit making it the perfect slouchy sweater that can be worn off the shoulder. I loved the white with a pair of denim shorts, it pretty much just screams summer, but would also be gorgeous in the fall with some distressed denim and booties. The peach beach sweater was another one of my favorites! I loved the color and the fact that it said beach, I was sold! For reference I’m wearing size Small/Medium in both sweaters.
