A question that I get asked pretty often is what my thoughts are on the brand SheIn. I think people are skeptical of the quality because the clothing is so low in price. Every time I have received an item from them, I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised, especially with the fall/winter items. The few sweaters and couple of jackets I have gotten have been pretty good! I’m one of those people that believes in the whole saying you get what you pay for, so don’t expect designer quality when you’re paying $10 for a top. I think it’s a great way to wear the latest trends without breaking the budget and then not feeling bad when you’re over wearing that item. A lot of times I have spent a ton of money on a piece of clothing and then a year later I’m tired of wearing it and then I feel so bad for having spent all of that money! I have been working with them for a while now and thought I would answer all the questions you girls might have on the brand and how to shop them. These are a few tips I would suggest when shopping SheIn.
1. Keep size in mind
Just like when you are shopping any budget friendly store, sometimes some of the items can run small. So I would must be mindful about what kind of item you are buying and if you may be between sizes, I’d go up a size.
2. Read the reviews
Not every item has reviews, but if they do, read it! Sometimes people will even put up a picture, so utilize that insight.
3. Compare to a similar retailer
When it comes to questioning what the fabric will be like, I try to compare it to a similar retailer in that price point. I would compare SheIn to a Forever 21. If you’ve shopped places like that, then you know what type of quality to expect.
4. Prepare for longer shipping
I have heard of people saying that the shipping took a long time or they had issues with the amount of time it took to get their item. I can say I have never ever had that problem, but if you do need that item soon, just do the expedited shipping.
Those are all of the tips I have for shopping on SheIn! I did a little try on with these three items over on my Instagram in the shop highlight.
