If you would have told me two years ago I’d have this much color in my wardrobe I wouldn’t have believed it! My closet has always consisted of mainly neutral colors, especially black. I will probably always love black, what’s not to love! It’s a classic, super chic and is definitely forgiving on the figure! Last year something drew me to the yellow mustard color and I bought a bodysuit in that color. I ended up loving it and started venturing out into other colors as well (adventurous I know! lol)

My point is even if you’re one of those people who have never really worn colors other than black, white and grey, it’s never too late to start adding a few new colors into your wardrobe. If it seems a little too out of character for you, start by adding a pop of color with your accessories or shoes and then slowly transition it into your clothing. Find the color that compliments your skin tone and hair color. As a blonde I always love mustard, red, baby blue, or pink. Find somebody’s style you love who has your similar coloring and get some ideas from their wardrobe choices.

My shorts are from One Teaspoon and are seriously one of my favorite pairs! I did a more detailed post on them here if you’ve been thinking about buying a pair; they’re totally worth the money. I have been living in these white sandals from Vici Dolls! They are so easy to slip on and I love the Grecian style. They’re sold out in the white, but I linked a very similar white pair. Vici Dolls also still has the brown and black styles as well.
