T shirt: Nordstrom| Shorts: One Teaspoon| Sneakers: Converse| Sunglasses: Quay| Watch: Daniel Wellington| Necklace: Kestan|

Some of my all time favorite looks are ones that include the basics. This pair of denim cut offs and a white t shirt couldn’t be more perfect for summer, and there’s just something so classic about it. I had been eyeing the One Teaspoon shorts for a long time and when I saw they had their sale going on, I couldn’t resist. I think it’s safe to say now that I own one pair, I want more! These are by far my most favorite pair of denim shorts I own.

The pair I’m wearing is the Bandits Hendrix style, they are a cut off frayed look, which I love. I was a little unsure on the sizing and which pair to get when I was ordering them online. It says that they have a slouchy low waist fit, I also noticed that the sides are cut higher. I have long legs, so usually my problem is when I size up the waist gets bigger, but the length doesn’t get longer. My normal size would be a 27, but I decided to play it safe and order one size up. I hate when I’m constantly having to tug my shorts down. Now having tried them on and worn them I could have probably ordered the 27, but overall I’m glad that I did size up. If you like a loose fit like I do than I would recommend sizing up.

This pair of shorts runs around $100, which now that I own them I can completely see why. They are so soft and comfortable and I’m in love with the cut and style. For those of you who aren’t feeling the $100 price tag, I’ve linked a few of my other favorite denim cut offs here, here and here. They’re all under $50 and are similar in style.

I brought my little guy on this shoot with us and he was cracking me up the whole time! He’s so hard to get to focus, but when he does it makes for one cute picture! Who else loves One Teaspoon as much as I do? I definitely foresee many pairs in my future!

Xoxo,

Danielle
