This weekend was our first weekend back home in Vegas since May, so we decided to have a date night on Saturday. We headed over to Lake Las Vegas, had dinner at the Hilton and walked around the village. It’s really beautiful there, the whole area is built around a man made lake; it doesn’t even feel like you’re in Vegas there. Most people who come to Vegas stay on the strip and aren’t familiar with what else there is outside of that area, I didn’t realize either until we moved here! I’m going to be doing a separate post all about Lake Las Vegas soon.

I have been loving summer knits, especially this sleeveless one from Express. It’s really hot here in Las Vegas right now (in the 100’s!), so the fact that this top is sleeveless and sheer is perfect for this kind of weather! I have also been obsessing over my lace up ballet flats. These shoes are great because they can still dress up an outfit without having to put a pair of heels on. I love the lace up detail and they can pretty much be paired with just about anything. I’m thinking I may have to get them in a nude color too!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!! I  have to say Monday’s are one of my least favorite days, but having the bachelorette to look forward to makes it a little better! Who else has their bottle of wine ready for the Bachelorette tonight?!
