The Grand Wailea

We’ve only been home from Maui a few days and I’m already planning our next trip back! When we started looking into going to Maui, we looked at many different hotels, but had heard great things about the Grand Wailea and decided we needed to check it out. After spending a week there, I can’t even begin to describe how amazing my experience was there. If you’re thinking of planning a trip to Hawaii, I highly recommend staying at the Grand Wailea!

The entryway had the most beautiful waterfalls surrounded by gorgeous flowers

The lobby was open air and it got an amazing breeze, it felt so tropical!

Under the hut was a bar with live entertainment that we loved hanging out at in the evenings

One of my favorite spots in the hotel was the breakfast area. The view was breathtaking, overlooking the fountains, pool and ocean. We got to experience eating breakfast every morning looking at this view, what more could you want!

I could definitely get used to this!

I can’t say enough about how accommodating the concierge and staff were. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had the most magical experience. They gave us a room with a beautiful ocean view, helped us plan all of our Hawaiian adventures and even surprised me one evening with a bottle of champagne and flowers in our room for my birthday! (This trip to Hawaii was part of my birthday gift from my hubby, he did good!)

The last night we had the pleasure of eating dinner at one of the restaurants in the hotel, humuhumunukunukuapua’a. (I still don’t think I can say it correctly!) It was a great way to cap off the trip, once again we were treated like royalty. We were served a couple of appetizers to try, had an amazing dinner and were treated with a birthday dessert and gift. The food was so amazing and the service was unbelievable!

This appetizer was so refreshing! It had a mix of many things, watermelon and goat cheese being two of the main ingredients.

To say we loved the Grand Wailea and Maui would be a complete understatement. Thank you to the staff at the Grand Wailea for making our first trip to Hawaii more than we could have ever imagined, we will definitely be back to visit soon! Mahalo!
