Apple cider vinegar, not exactly something many people enjoy sipping on. It’s bitter, and well let’s be honest, it’s vinegar! When I first heard about apple cider vinegar, I was told how great it was for you and thought I’d give it a shot. I bought it on my next trip to the store, got home and opened it, took one wiff of it and put it right back into the fridge. There was no way in hell I was drinking that!
Even though I wrote it off, I kept hearing more and more benefits of apple cider vinegar; clears up acne, helps aid in weight loss, clears your sinuses, helps boost energy levels etc. The list literally goes on and on, and it doesn’t stop at drinking it, I’ve also heard of people using it on their hair and on their skin. So I started doing a little research and came across a recipe from Brittany Mullins of Eating Bird Food blog, that sounded quite interesting and tried it out. Below are the ingredients you will need:
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (I used Bragg’s Organic, raw unfiltered, with the ‘mother’)
- 2 tablespoons apple juice
- 6 ounces of water
- 4 drops of liquid stevia
- cinnamon
Pour all ingredients above into a glass, stir, add ice, and it’s ready to drink! It makes such a difference in curbing that vinegar taste, and is actually enjoyable to drink, especially if your a lover of apple pie. Now I can get the health benefits of apple cider vinegar without the bitter after taste!
What are some other recipes that people have used for apple cider vinegar?
