Here we go! I must say, I’m really excited to start this new journey of blogging! I thought for my first post I’d start off with sharing a little bit about me.

My name is Danielle, I just turned 30 (It’s still so weird saying that!) and recently made the big move out West. I’m originally from Cleveland, Ohio, but as of a year ago my husband was promoted and given a territory of the Pacific Northwest, and  I am now a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada. I’m a lover of the west coast, especially southern California, where I have lived twice previously. (I think it’s safe to say I’m definitely a Cali girl at heart!)

I’m the oldest of my siblings, my sister is 13 months younger and my brother is 7 years younger. I’m really close with my family, which makes it hard having all of us living all over the United States! I’m in Las Vegas, my sister’s in New York City, my brother’s in Columbus and my parents are still living in Cleveland. To me family is the most important thing, and I’ve been blessed with the most amazing support system I could ask for.

This is my hubby and love of my life, Maurice or as we call him “Mo”. We met in college, I was 19 and he was 21, just babies! We dated 8 years before we took the plunge and got hitched on August 3, 2013. I honestly couldn’t imagine my life without him. We’ve been through so much together and I’m so happy to have always have him by my side through thick and thin.

I’m also a mama, to my precious little fur baby Rambo. He is 6 years old and a mix of Chihuahua, Pekingese, and Toy Poodle. He’s definitely a mama’s boy and follows me just about anywhere I go. He is very spoiled and lives a privileged life lol, he will always be my first baby!

I hope this gives you a little bit more of an idea of who I am!
