Hi guys, happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was spent relaxing and working on some things for the blog. The weather was really pretty here, in the mid 60’s and sunny. It was the perfect sweater weather, so I got to wear two of the new sweaters I just received. It’s a little bit hard to see in the photos, but this one from Romwe has the prettiest twist detailing. On the website it’s worn with the twist in the front, but I switched things up a bit and wore it in the back for this shoot. I like how you can wear it either way and change the look. It fits true to size, for reference I’m wearing a size small.

It comes in a bunch of different colors, is only $13 and the quality is really good. If you’re looking for trendy, inexpensive sweaters be sure to check out their site! I wore it with my favorite boyfriend denim and classic black pumps. I love boyfriend denim because of the loose relaxed fit; so comfy! This pair is an older pair I got a few years back, but I linked 3 similar pairs all at different price points. Investing in a good pair of denim is something I don’t mind doing because I like to get a good fit and you can wear them over and over for years.

So I spent this past weekend trying to come up with different content for the blog, I want to keep things fresh and exciting! At the end of last year I started doing mini beauty tutorials on my Instagram.  (Check out my Insta profile here, I saved the two latest tutorials in my highlights!) I’ve gotten some good feedback with the tutorials, so it’s something I plan on continuing to do this year. I love posting fashion, so I will continue to do that, but I want to incorporate conversation as well. I feel like there’s only so much you can say about a piece of clothing without it getting too monotonous. I will definitely share my outfit details and any sizing, pricing, color etc, but I would like to be conversational as well in my blog posts.

Another post I’m thinking about creating is a roundup of my favorite beauty finds of 2017. I’d share beauty products I tried, was sent etc and that I loved and will continue to use.
