Curb Your Anxiety With This Cocktail

Moon Juice Ashwagandha

Happy Friday loves!! Today I wanted to share with you guys a product that I started using a few weeks ago and have been really loving. In my recent post, I mentioned that I have always experienced some pretty bad anxiety. I have tried medication in the past and it just wasn’t really my thing. So I’m constantly on the lookout for natural products or other ways to help curb anxiety and stress.

So about a month ago I saw one of my favorite bloggers, Lauryn Evarts of The Skinny Confidential, mention a product by Moon Juice called Ashwagandha. If you guys don’t follow her you definitely should, she’s pretty amazing! Me being curious, I started reading about Ashwagandha and it’s benefits and I figured why not give it a shot, so I ordered it. Ashwagandha is a root that helps to calm the bodies nervous system. It’s known to help with stress, fatigue, lack of energy and difficulty concentrating. Google Ashwagandha to find out all the benefits!

It’s been about three weeks and I can say that I feel like I have noticed a difference! It’s something I will definitely keep taking and will probably try some of their other products as well. I will add that the taste can be a little potent, the first two tries I basically held my nose and drank it down! Then Mo suggested to try it in one of our smoothie drinks we make and it is 100% easier to drink and actually enjoyable! I will share the recipe below, it’s super simple and only has a few ingredients.

PB2 Smoothie Recipe

  • 1 Banana
  • 2 Tbsp of PB2
  • 1/2 Cup of Almond Milk
  • 1/2 Cup of Ice
  • Cinnamon to taste (I like a lot!)
  • Optional: Vanilla or chocolate protein powder
  • Here is the link for the Moon Juice Ashwagandha powder

Once the smoothie is made I take one serving (1 tsp) and mix it into the drink. Make sure you really mix it up good, sometimes it separates and can get clumpy.

Do you guys have any natural products that you like to use to ease your stress or anxiety? If so share them below!

Xoxo,

Danielle
