Happy Friday!! I hope you all had an amazing week! Today’s post I’m sharing 10 things about me that you probably didn’t know. I love when bloggers can get real and share the nitty gritty and not so pretty things about themselves, because lets face it, nobody’s life is perfect. I want to be as open as possible about who I am with you guys. So let’s get this started!
1. I have lived out west 3 different times in the last 12 years- Yes it’s crazy and has become an ongoing joke with family and friends! I was 18 the first time I ever saw Los Angeles and completely fell in love! I lived there for a year two different times and ended up back home in Cleveland because I was homesick. The third move was for my husbands job which brought us to Las Vegas, which is where I reside now (although California will always have my heart!)
2. I have been married for 3 1/2 years- Although I’ve known my husband for just about 12 years now! I met him in college when I was 19 (ugh just a baby!) and we’ve been together ever since. I feel like I’ve known him forever, and we definitely bicker like an old married couple!
3. I have a fur baby named Rambo- Or shall I say “King Rambo”. If you follow me on Instagram @diaries.of.danielle then this is something you already knew since I plaster him all over my feed and instastories! He is a Chihuahua, Pekingese, Toy Poodle mix; and yes he’s very confused! He has major anxiety and thinks he’s about 100 lbs. He’s definitely the love of my life!
4. I’m a complete animal lover- I have always been a huge lover of all animals! I wanted to be a veterinarian while I was growing up, until I realized how many years of school it took and that there was a downside to some of the things you have to do. If I could, I swear I’d have like 10 dogs running around (although Rambo would hate it!), they bring me so much happiness!
5. I’m the oldest of 3 siblings- I have a sister who is 13 months younger than me and a brother who is 7 years younger than me. Having a sister so close in age basically felt like having a twin, we were always dressed alike and doing the same things. I love having a sister so close in age, she is definitely my best friend. When my brother was born he was our little baby doll, poor guy! We are his biggest cheerleaders and also toughest security, watch out ladies lol! My family is super important to me and I feel so lucky to have these two!
6. I have a serious obsession with reality TV- Ok I admit it, my guilty pleasure is pouring a glass of wine and turning on my favorite reality show. On any given day you can find my tv on either Bravo, E!, HGTV and on Monday nights ABC for the Bachelor. Like I said I have a reality TV addiction! Who’s with me?!
7. My favorite trip is a beach vacation- I have always been a lover of the sun, sand and ocean. To me the beach is the most relaxing place to unwind and is totally my happy place. Don’t get me wrong, I love seeing all different types of places, but there’s nothing like posting up in the sand and listening to the sound of the waves. Two of my favorite beach vacations I’ve been on would have to be Maui and Moorea, both so beautiful!
8. My biggest demon is my anxiety- Ugh where do I begin! Basically I have dealt with really bad anxiety my whole life. There are times where it has been under control and other times where it is hard to do simple everyday things because of it. I’ve tried all kinds of different things throughout my experience with anxiety and have found a few that seem to help. I think I’ll do a separate post on this one day since it’s such a big part of my life. I love hearing other people’s tips and tricks and hopefully can help others with some of mine!
9. I’m 5’9”tall- I always hated being the girl who stuck out like a sore thumb and I used to refuse to buy heels because I didn’t want to be taller than everyone. I can now say without a doubt that those days are long gone lol, just ask my husband!
10. I love all things spicy!- I love love love spicy food! I will put sriracha on just about anything, I love making hot peppers sauteed in garlic and olive oil and I’m a sucker for a Thai curry bowl. Basically the spicier the better!!
I hope you guys learned a little bit more about me! I want to be as open with my followers and readers as possible, so I figured this would be a good start. If you guys like these kinds of posts let me know and I will do more of them. And if there’s anything else you guys want to know about me feel free to ask!
Xoxo,
Danielle
